Jose Mario has been a partner of Valdivieso & Associates (LEGIC El Salvador) since 1992. He currently directs the firm’s conflict resolution and  corporate department where clients are encouraged to identify and pursue business opportunities in Central America and the United States, as well as the coordination of international transactions in Central and South America, Mexico, the United States and Europe. He has been an advisor to several multinational companies such as Toni & Guy U.S.A. in California and Texas.

Jose Mario served as Dean of the Faculty of Juridical and Social Sciences of the New San Salvador University (UNSSA); He has been a Professor of Business Law at American College of El Salvador and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the German / Salvadoran Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Doctor in jurisprudence and social sciences; former professor of Commercial Law at the National University of El Salvador; former member of Thesis Qualifying Courts in the area of Commercial Law at the National University and former professor of Commercial Law. Collaborating attorney of the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador (1997-1998); trainer for the National Judicial School and former magistrate at the civil chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice.
